Mini review: (quick enough to be read before that Zombie gets back up):

Historical note: This is considered to be the first Zombie move. For that reason I suppose I should give it more points for originality. However I found the movie quite boring. The overall production quality (especially the sound) is what you would expect of a movie from the early 30's. To be fair I'm sure much can be attributed to decades of film deterioration. Somehow I can stomach the blood and guts of the modern movies, but I couldn't stomach the painful overacting by John Harron or the 100 cuts scenes to Bela Lugosi's clenched fists. If you like movies of the 30's and 40's it's probably worth seeing; If not this movie can be skipped!
