Mini review: (quick enough to be read before that Zombie gets back up):

This is a truly unique zombie film. Beside guts, gore, and "Bruce Campbell's Right Hand 2" Stacy shares very little with the stereotypical zombie movie. For example it takes place a decade after the first zombie has emerged. Only (and ALL) girls between 16 and 17 can (and will) become infected. Love and society's interaction and treatment of "Stacies" is the focus of the deep and confounding theme of this movie. I think this is the first zombie movie I have seen that made me want to read the book (too bad I don't read Japanese). Stacy is by far the saddest and most touching zombie movie I have ever seen. My only real complaint is that the movie was too short to fully develop the characters and ending to the story. Despite the above... keep in mind that this movie has enough guts, gore, and zombie movie references to attract even the most unenlightening zombie fan. Sex: None. Nudity: None. Profanity: None... I think.
